We want AI in Simple Mondays to be simple, flexible and transparent. AI Credits give you a monthly allowance to use across our AI tools, including Miss Honey and our resource generators.

What are AI Credits? They measure your use of AI features. Instead of counting every request as one “use,” credits reflect how much AI processing your request needs, so a quick question to Miss Honey costs less than a detailed lesson plan, worksheet or presentation. A tool may use a fraction of a credit or several, depending on the length and complexity of your request, the response, the type of resource, any curriculum information involved and the length of your Miss Honey conversation. Simple Mondays calculates everything automatically, and the exact amount can’t always be known before a response is generated.

How many credits do I get? Plus includes 50 AI Credits per month and Pro includes 125. Miss Honey and our AI resource generators share this allowance. AI-generated Report Card Comments and Student Notes Comments never count toward your credits, so you can use them freely, even if you reach your limit.

How do I track my usage? A visual meter shows how much of your monthly allowance remains, so there’s nothing to calculate. We’ll notify you when you’ve used 90%.

When do credits reset? On the 1st of every month, regardless of your billing date. Unused credits don’t roll over.

What if I run out? Eligible AI tools pause until the 1st. All non-AI features, Report Card Comments and Student Notes Comments keep working normally. If you don’t want to wait, you can buy an AI Credit Boost of 50 credits for $5.00, and you can buy more than one. Boosts are billed in your local currency (see Pricing FAQ: Billing Currency) and expire when your allowance resets on the 1st.

Why do long Miss Honey chats use more? Miss Honey uses your conversation’s context to give relevant answers, so longer chats mean more to process. If a conversation gets very long, we may suggest starting a fresh chat.

Why the change from “AI uses”? Not every request takes the same processing, so a quick question and a detailed, curriculum-supported resource shouldn’t count the same. Credits measure usage more accurately and let you spend your allowance however you like across our tools. Behind the scenes, AI runs on “tokens,” but we translate those into credits for you.

Do credits have a cash value? No. They can’t be redeemed for cash, transferred to another account or carried into another month.

How can I make credits go further? Be clear and specific with Miss Honey, start a new chat when you switch topics, and ask only for the length of resource you need. Most importantly, use AI whenever it saves you time.
